About Me

Hi! My name is Eric McMurtrey. Born and raised in the northwest, work and life has finally settled me all the way down in Georgia. After a long career in agriculture, I've settled into the manufacturing field here. After a long time spent in the hobby of building models, I've decided to focus on my writing. And, of course, after a long time being single, I've decided to focus on being married.

I'm the first to admit, I have the 'fish out of water' vibe pretty firmly established.

I also believe I'm getting my priorities figured out. I've seen a lot of things, done a lot of things, and maybe even survived some stuff that should have killed me. I think it's safe to say that all of that has found its way into my writing, and into my life, really. I'm a firm believer there's plenty of darkness in the world. Kinda like one of my science fiction heroes (Captain Dylan Hunt), I've made a vow to push it back wherever I can.

Heaven knows I don't always succeed, but I'm still learning.

Anyways, thanks for stopping by. You've given me the gift of your time just by doing so, and I understand very well how big of a deal that is in today's world. Have a look around, and PLEASE feel free to drop me a line and tell me what you think. I know that's a second gift I'm asking for - your feedback - but I'd appreciate it greatly.

Any which way, Enjoy the World!
